Romberg Associates is based on a love of helping others find and leverage their untapped or underused talents to strengthen the organizations they serve. As a recruiter, she helps nonprofit organizations develop talent acquisition and development plans. She also conducts workshops on workforce hiring strategies, team building, and leadership skills for managers.
She utilizes Polarity Thinking™ in her work – either directly or woven in and combined with other models and methodologies. Ellen held top HR leadership roles with the MacArthur Foundation, University of Chicago, Booth School of Business and the Chicago Symphony Orchestra. A native of the Chicago area, she earned a master’s degree in HR from Loyola University of Chicago, a graduate level Certificate in Executive Coaching from Northwestern University as well as a bachelor’s degree from the American Conservatory of Music and a master’s degree in piano performance from DePaul University. She holds many leadership, HR and personality assessment certifications. Ellen serves on the Board of Directors for The Night Ministry, an organization that works to provide housing, healthcare and human connection to all community members struggling with poverty and homelessness.
